Our Story
Antelope Valley Youth Athletics was born out of necessity. In 2006, youth athletic opportunities in Palmdale and Lancaster were scarce — and when the program our founders were part of decided to stop serving the Antelope Valley, they refused to let that be the end of the story. So they built something new.
What started as a track program has grown into a thriving multi-sport organization. Over the years we’ve added Football, Cheer, and Cross Country — each program launched in direct response to what our community needed. That community-first mindset has never changed.
Our long-term vision is to offer every sport a young Antelope Valley athlete might want to play. If you’re a coach with a program you’d like to start, we’re always looking to grow — reach out and let’s talk.

AVYA is volunteer-driven and family-focused. Every coach, board member, and parent who shows up on game day is part of what makes this organization great. We run on community pride — and there’s plenty of it in the Antelope Valley.
We believe youth sports build more than athletes. They build discipline, resilience, and friendships that last a lifetime. Our coaches lead by example, teaching young people to compete hard, win with grace, and never stop growing.
